Pack Trips

Our summer pack trips offer a true high-country experience in the heart of the Boulder-White Cloud Mountains. Traveling by horseback, guests have access to a multitude of alpine lakes and scenic trails waiting to be explored. Many of these remote lakes provide excellent fishing opportunities, giving anglers the chance to enjoy quiet waters far from the crowds. The White Clouds are equally rewarding for photographers, with dramatic granite peaks, wildflower-filled basins, and crystal-clear reflections creating unforgettable images. Whether you’re casting a line, hiking to a new vantage point, or simply taking in the mountain air, our summer pack trips are designed to showcase the very best of Idaho’s backcountry.

Roving Trip

Our Roving Camp option is built for those who want a more rugged and immersive backcountry experience. This style of trip allows us to continually move through the high country of the Boulder-White Cloud Mountains, covering a great deal of country and maximizing time in the saddle. Camping is simple and personal—guests stay in individual tents, typically without cots, embracing a true wilderness setup. Meals are practical and trail-focused, often “Mountain House” style, designed for efficiency as we travel. With fewer amenities and more miles behind us each day, the Roving Camp is ideal for adventurous guests who value exploration, steady riding, and seeing as much remote terrain as possible.
